Will Ferrell has been making the rounds to promote Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, usually in character as Ron Burgundy himself. But instead of just showing off trailers and clips, more unique methods are being used to help build buzz for the movie.
We've already seen Burgundy doing an anti-piracy ad, and now he's showing up to do real news in the unlikeliest of places. Ferrell recently did an entire newscast as Burgundy for KXMB in Bismarck, North Dakota. Anchorman 2 isn't even mentioned once in the 30-minute broadcast. Sure, he does or says something silly once or twice, but for the most part, it's all business.
