We usually see crowdfunding used to help fund indie movies, comics, games, and so on, but it can also be used to do great things for charity. A new campaign has been started on Indiegogo called Will Ferrell's SuperMegaBlastMax Gamer Challenge. The basic idea: raise a bunch of money for kids who have beaten or are battling cancer and get some cool stuff, with one person winning the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play video games with Ferrell and have it broadcasted on Twitch.
